Our organic ravensara essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves of the ravensara tree (Ravensara aromatica). Aromatically the oil is fresh and earthy, sweet and spicy, with eucalyptus being one of its primary components. It has similar uses as other plants containing eucalyptus, but the scent is softer. Many use ravensara oil in the same ways that they might use eucalyptus oil -- for instance, to facilitate respiratory health or ease the symptoms of coughs and colds.
Ravensara is pleasant-smelling, gentle, and effective for use in your DIY cleaning solutions.
