Melissa, also known in the USA as Lemonbalm is a plant in the mint family that is common in many gardens in Europe and North America as a volenrary plant. Its main contituent oils are found in very small quantities on the leaves but are quite well known for relaxation, being loved by bees. One component of note found in Lemonbalm is rosmarinic acid whch is a unique component found to have health and healing benefits particularly for bronchial constriction.
